For over 45 years, the YES has been providing a unique learning experience for over 15,000 youth across BC. The YES is a charitable organization that has no religious affiliation and is supported through the province's co-operative and credit union movement.
Over the past 50 years, we've empowered thousands of young leaders in British Columbia to make a tangible difference in their lives. Our immersive, hands-on approach fosters growth, confidence, and life-long connections. We believe our programs transform the lives of our participants, equipping them with the tools and skills to inspire positive change within their schools, families, and communities. Join us in inspiring the next generation of leaders—whether as a participant, supporter, or partner.”
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global framework for non-formal education and learning that challenges young people to dream big, celebrate their achievements, and make a difference in their world. By helping young people find their purpose, passion, and place in the world through developing transferable skills, increasing their fitness levels, cultivating a sense of adventure, and volunteering in their community, the Award helps them find their worldview.
